When my computer forced me to upgrade to Win10, Internet Explorer kept popping up randomly (I used another browser) saying something along the lines that "My computer is compromised and to protect the window's network we're remote locking your computer and you have to call this number".

After force closing it with Task Manager a dozen times I just uninstalled internet explorer.

Nah. It was a very annoying pop up. Went directly to the front of what I was doing, and read 3 paragraphs worth of bullshit at max volume, and wouldn't close without task manager.

I was worried the first time because they said they were going to remote lock my computer but when nothing happen I just started closing it
