I created my youtube account in 2009 back when if creators wanted a video longer than 10 minutes they had to "partner up" with other channels, and if you subscribed to one person you subscribed to their partners too.

I subbed to Smosh (biggest channel at the time) and was immediately subbed to 15 nobodies like Nigahiga, mysterious guitar man, and some other channels that are all dead or practically dead
