happiness depends on spiritual fulfillment which is largely independent from intelligence
there are a lot of over-achievers who do so as a means of trying to find spiritual fulfillment but that doesn't work, and also children who are shamed into becoming overachievers, told they will be unloved if they aren't perfect etc. leads to a lot of naturally intelligent but depressed to their core cus they were never loved for being themself
