I do decent distances too, like 10 miles. It's ok though I mainly do it for cardio/resp health + lose body fat.

I just hate how people think sports = health. It's like the answer for everything. Can't sleep at night? just do sports. Always tired? just do sports. Feel like shit all the time no matter what? just do sports :)

Every time I have a health related issue I google what to do and it's always sports. Along with not drinking and smoking it's tied as the top three most bs advice ever. Meanwhile Chad gets hammered three times a week, smokes a pack a day and hasn't done sports since high school yet he sleeps like a baby and fucks like a king.

I often use those for their intended purpose, walking to the beach or pacific palisades. I always go for the straight wooden staircase because it's wider, the one on 4th street is narrow and puts you uncomfortable close to sweaty people running fast
