Are you dumb enough to believe this?
in my /uni/ the highest math for a not Math major is Calculus III. I failed it. I failed cuz i didnt have any friends i could seek help on.
My advice is this. Tell him to surround himself with smart people. That's it. I failed cuz i handled everything on my own

What would a smart person have taught you that google couldn't. Did you need someone to hold your hand through it?

This tbqh. Nearly every STEM field will require you to pass calc 2 (which imo is harder than calc 3 but meh)

The only way you could be bad at math is if you didn't learn something from a previous math. Math is one of the few subjects that continuously builds upon itself.
Find out your weak point and learn it.

i relied on Google most times. But there are times that you need to work together. Like , there's a problem and no amount of googling could help you. And you come in class with nothing yet your normie classmates have the answers. Some of them copying from each other and i sat there in envy. Ive been through dark times anon.

What "science" are you referring to that doesn't require math to some degree, though? I can't think of any besides the pseudo sciences like psychology/sociology etc

well i know basic HS math and science, but never bothered learning further than that

What is left in science if you take out math?
Pouring shit in a beaker? Reading graphs?

if you're gonna go for a STEM degree expect Calculus. When i passed my pre Calculus, my professor said my grades will get lower in the next one. I remember laughing but holy shit he's frikin right

I'm more confused as to how you're decent at math but terrible at physics when it's just math with word problems

Precalc was a lot harder for me than calculus and nothing I learned in precalc was even useful for calculus. It was like I was learning an entirely new form of math even though I already passed its predecessor
