It's having somebody love and care about you. It's a pretty nice feeling. It's not a relationship so you don't have the relationship anxiety they are going to leave you for somebody better or you're going to fuck it up. And it's not a parental/family relationship so you don't have that weird hierarchy/authority/mind your manners thing going on.
