netflix is good but I never fall asleep easily and it throws me off to have to press the button to "continue watching" as if I ever stop

I used to a few years ago, but then my cat broke my TV and I never got around buying another one. Now I need absolute silence to fall asleep and dream almost every night.

I usually don't like leaving the tv on at night (reminds me too much of my parents) but I can take a nice midday nap watching old b-movies from the 50s & 60s or 90s dramatic TV shows, mostly X-Files

I HAVE to have some sort of TV to fall asleep. It's the worst. My friends complain all the time. If I have a choice I usually have a news station on.

Fooly Cooly, Cowbot Beepboop, G Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho, Kenshin, Paranoid Agent, and some other late night adult swim anime shows that I watched before going to bed.
