I'm installing Ubuntu 17.04 today.
I'm basically going to copy my home folder to am external hard drive and then move whatever I need back to the new home folder.
Also I ran dpkg --get-selections > programs.txt to install whatever programs I have in 16.04
Anyway if anyone else is installing a new OS today. Let me know. Maybe we can exchange tips and shit.

Do you also exchange tips about how to walk?

It looks shit most of the time.
I was thinking of trying a new window environment.

I might do sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop
I was thinking more openbox. But I'll give xubuntu a try if you show me something decent.

Nice digits. But I'm not a virgin.

Sure thing, buddyo.

I used Linux every day for about eight years and if there's one thing I know, it's that trying to install a *ubuntu-desktop package NEVER goes well. It's practically impossible to convert one Ubuntu variant to another without fucking something up.
Also, don't use Ubuntu, what the fuck is wrong with you? Debian is the only truly hassle-free distro.

This version of gnome is better than xkdshit

Enjoy reverting to regular Gnome in a few months' time because Canonical finally realized their desktop is an unholy abomination and have stopped all development (and soon support) efforts.
