Started reading more books recently, it's made me feel really calm and relaxed.

I've just finished a book called Spring Snow by Yukio Mishima, it's the first of a tetralogy. It's a love story and I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy it because I've never really known true love myself but the detail was phenomenal and made me feel like how the main character feels.

He's also constantly reflecting on existential issues and circumstances in his life throughout the book and . I started off thinking Kiyoaki was a complete arsehole but by the end I was very sympathetic towards him. The final three or four chapters were phenomenal.

Highly recommend, it's slow paced but if you stick with it it's very rewarding.

Finally got my 'dream job' (realistically speaking) but now all I wanna do is go back to being on the dole/working temp jobs for shit hours.

This is way too much responsibility. When I was poor I had a shit life but at least I could blame it on external factors ("shit pay/no job") through no fault of my own.

I just want to go through this life without having any real responsibility (other than taking care of myself).
