Yes it does. Just immediately go up the ladder on the tower behind you as you exit onto the top of the wall. Kill the archer dudes, then look down and he'll be at the bottom of the tower. Drop attack the nigger. Don't wait too long or he'll jump up there after you.

If you picked the master key/bought the key off the merchant in the undead burg you can open a door leading to a chest to three gold pine resins which put lightning on your weapon for a short while which both bosses are weak to. Or you can just git gud.

It really shouldnt take you more than an hour and a half to get to Ornstein and Smough

disable the fps fix with backspace but that will make the game shutter so just set it to 30 and try it like that
some people jump/roll shorter with more than 30 fps, maybe you also have some kind of bug and thats why cant plunge

I started a new game just yesterday, and I don't remember the game controlling this badly.

I just did the tutorial area and then got to the fog wall for the turus demon - but god damn it feels different.

To put it into perspective I've been playing Dark Souls 2. I have yet to try DS3.

It definitely feels like the DS1 enemies are more aggressive. In DS2 I could walk up the enemies and then take a step back as they swung their weapons around just in front of me, but in the first game it seems like the undead all run up to me and stab me in the face.

It also seems like I'm rolling around the complete opposite direction half the time.

Other than that, I still find that it's a better overall game than DS2.

Only the catatcombs skeletons keep coming back (until the necromancers are dead), the ones in the graveyard in firelink shrine and the giant skeletons and co. in tomb of the giants can be killed with whatever.

try a blunt damage weapon against the skelies, it knocks them down basically letting you stunlock them to death

a basic Mace should work

just use a guide honestly dark souls does a shitty job of explaining the mechanics to you shit becomes piss easy once you know enemy movesets and how to dodge them

currently doing my first high strength run, got fucking lucky and got the bk halberd from the one near the grass crest shield

have done a sorcerer, pyromancer, cleric, NG+6 runs, am working on a SL1 and magic only run
