Can we get a self improvement thread going? What are some things you do to improve your self daily?

I've been,
>taking cold showers (since May 2015. Only took to hot showers in the middle of November 2015)
>getting /fit/
>sleeping less (5 to 6 hours a night)
>finishing what I start (this has been very helpful.)

I've being taking 7 showers daily for the past 3 months and so far I have grown 2". Good stuff. Very proud of my progress so far.

Nothing. I'm prolly gonna an hero within the next few weeks. Don't care enough to try anymore, and am indifferent to the like 2 other people (family members) who would care. At the end of the day, any sadness they'd feel is temporary, and you'll just be a distant memory towards them. No point in even trying to get a gf/wife either, when you die they'll just move on to the next mate. That is if you can even get a gf in the first place, which is unlikely for anyone on this board

why the fuck would sleeping less be a good thing unless you're oversleeping? 8 hours of sleep is the most important part of self improvement. if you actually plan on getting fit it's literally a requirement. I sleep 9-10 but that's just because I lift heavy every day.

2 summers ago i went on a big self improvement journey. i wasnt a full aspie NEET before it by any means, still dressed well, showered, groomed, etc., but i wanted to get even bigger improvements

>tanning 1x every 1.5-3 weeks or so. live in a northern climate + cloudy/fog area so i did just enough to not look pale
>used teeth whiteners for a few weeks to get my teeth bright af, then just maintained it by brushing 3x a day
>got more stylish haircut, nothing fancy but something i had to put a lil effort to maintain
>all meals were what i cooked myself. had at least one very large portion of green vegetables in a meal every day.
>worked out every single day. worked out for a long time before that (actually very fit, 3/4/5 numbers srs), but did my first real cut to get as low as possible. best body of my life
>started hanging with friends more. not sure if it was a byproduct of all the other changes but something made me want to put in effort to see people and have fun. i hated doing nothing at my apartment by myself, not in that "wow im alone im such a loser" way, but i simply didn't enjoy it if you know what i mean

it was really good guys. then..

7-8 hours of sleep is fine, not getting enough sleep will negatively effect you over time. I'm not sure what cold showers have to do with anything, I'm pretty sure a warm shower/bath would be better for helping the body relax.

Been losing weight since late February, pic related
