Never worked for me. I've gotten 1 match ever and she didn't reply at all (from hundreds, maybe a thousand right swipes). I'm not particularly unattractive, 6'3", skinny, white, nice hair, 5/10 face, and I'm dressed well and/or playing instruments in all of my pictures.

Tinder is all visual, the key to success is to cultivate a nice spread of pictures for your profile. Don't be afraid to use filters, angles, and take selfies to figure out how to make yourself look best in pictures. Every month I'll get insanely horny and use Tinder, bang a chick for a little while, then go back to being alone.
