Why you don't write short stories in you spare time ?

I take porn requests on /trash/ senpai
Also been writing normal short stories for the past week or so.

I do, actually. Smutty fanfiction to be precise.

Because I'm shit at writing. I wish my 18-year-old self would have known that, so I could have gotten a useful degree, instead of going to film school for writing.

I know that feel bro.
>tfw you will never write anything even remotely decent
why live ?
because although i am generally bereft of all the other deadly sins, i fall victim very often to that of Sloth
i think writing would do a world of good for me, and i feel that the product would not be altogether horrible. i'm sure that folk here are familiar with feelings like these. i actually reckon that failing to write is a dear sin of sorts committed by me
I can't write.
You can't just randomly put down words and expect it to be well written. If I was ever going to write something, it would have to be well written.
I gave writing a chance few times in the past and it never worked out. I felt disgusted by my own writing, it wasn't good or natural to read.
It doesn't help that my life is uninteresting, it also doesn't help that I'm bad at analyzing things. Writing fiction is out of the question also as I have no imagination. That died long ago during the peak of my meme depression.
I'm tired of being alive and I'm tired of trying to be creative. Everything I do, ends up in failure. They say that you just have to keep trying, but that is like willingly taking hits from some thug. You are left with bruises and broken bones with nothing gained.

Man, I fucking love brutalism. Too bad that
1. It's dead forever
2. The stupid northern Gooks couldn't even manage to finish that ONE hotel
Don't you want to stay there when you see photos? Then, you find out it looks like pic related on the interior. Bleh.

>cant write
how do you explain your post then? niggrrfaggot
>>36854053
I do, and I get paid for it. I'm told I'm pretty good at it.
I don't really like doing it that much even though I have nothing better to do.

Looks cooler unfinished, primal, raw, corroded.

People aren't just naturally good at writing. Maybe a little bit, I mean Stephen King was 26 when he wrote Carrie, but he'd been writing creatively as a job for SIX years at that point. And he's an example of very very early / rapid success and development.
Don't be discouraged if you put out dogshit for a while or even for a long time, anon. The point is the enjoying the writing process, more than the end product.
Until you become a regularly published author. Then books are work assignments you must finish to pay bills. I don't envy that desu

Mmmmm. I would add "uninhabitable" to that list.
Sigh.... 105 stories! Imagine a real country building this, even the Soviets!

>why live ?
Complacency, mostly. Life is like a shitty job you don't much care for, but can't be bothered to quit. I'm just waiting out the clock.
I write shitty stuff for fun, I know I'm shit but I enjoy it
>>36854515
brutalism is hilarious imo
like the architect being as sarcastic as possible with concrete

is this true? Ive writte +50 short stories, 15 scrypts and working on 9 novels so far, I started in january, is really easy for me to came up with an story and I only like original and complicated plots so everyday Im fixing or deleting ideas, I thought this was normal but I keep seeing that is actually hard for people to have original ideas, do I really have an artistic superpower? also I composer music really easy without knowing music theory, I arranged material for like 4 albums because im insecure about just having 1
btw Im studying film making, are you studying something related or just as a hobbie?
I used to but I don't like literature so I don't really enjoy my stuff and that fucks my motivation.
I make music tho.

I do, they're all edgy though
People say I'm a good writer, but I don't want to earn any Sorosbux from it
>>36854053
I'm actually in the process of writing a feature-length contemporary fantasy screenplay. Scrivener is a blessing.
>>36855796

Over the past 3 years I've been trying to write and do the art for my own VN but I always get stuck a chapter in and want to start all over
