I bet robots are so stupid they don't realize USA black people invented jazz, blues, rock, disco, techno, and house music.

The white people genres I can think of, off the top of my head, are trance (grew out of techno), metal (comes from rock), and Ska (comes from reggae). Also I'm leaving motown and soul out as major genres here since white people never really co opted those on a larger scale.

I guess I'm saying, all the music you like is nigger music unless you sit around listening to Wagner all day like some autist. It kinda doesn't make sense when people associate blacks solely with hip hop.

Not any of those posters, but personally I think jazz is too much unnecessary scale noodling and over the top drum rhythms which usually choke out the bassists. Plus brass instruments are usually a focal point, and I've never been all that too keen on brass. I'm sure that's a bit of a generalization, but all in all I prefer blues and metal to jazz.

That being said, I still respect it. The people into it are talented and are out to create something they love.

Before globalization and the slave trade, the musical, rhythmic, and dancing superiority of Africans wasn't widely known in Europe or the Americas. So they had Classical music, ballet, etc. local tavern music which was pretty cool

But there's no excuse in this day and age. Everything white people make just sounds faggy and weak, or downright embarrassing (eg rock, metal). They should focus on other artistic pursuits, maybe visual arts, 3D graphics and animation, and writing - leave music and dance to black people.

Anyways, I don't think it's fair to say any culture "borrowed" the pentatonic scale from any one culture because I would imagine it surfaced independently across the world through many different cultures in east asia and south america. Then again, I do admit my ignorance towards the history of music, and I'm sure even the experts would disagree here and there.

Furthermore, there are a lot of bands that don't abuse it. For instance, Iron Maiden uses Phrygian Dominant in Powerslave and Aeolian in Fear of the Dark.

Personally my favorite and go to scale on guitar and bass that I always end up playing without even thinking about is the blues scale. As a result the pentatonic minor sounds too gauged out for me.
