so this is what they mean when they say "time flies". noice. death cant come soon enough.
I miss the golden age badly
>there are kids on r9k too young to remember baloonshop
youtube used to be a place for genuine creativity before the youtube drama circus came into town that all the kids eat up
>tfw my youtube account is 10 years old
what blows my mind is in the future there's gonna be shit on the internet that is 50, 100 years old. how is that going to work? what happens to shit that fades into obscurity? is it all gonna be in some archive? will youtube and other major sites survive for decades or will they eventually be replaced by better competitors? already it seems like stuff that was common 5-10 years ago is just fading away.

I was born in '97 and have been using Youtube since late 2005. I remember the golden days vividly, Ballonshop was one of my subscriptions a decade ago.

No, youtube, facebook, twitrer reached critical mass and they will never go away at this point.
Everything that is on youtube now will be there forever unless someone explicitely will want to delete it.
