Because you realized video games can't fill the void in your life. The only way to enjoy them again is to occupy your time with a job/normie shit, and even then it's not 100% guaranteed. Some people do outgrow video games entirely.

There was this post screenshot I didn't save that basically said you can't enjoy it because you know deep down there's other things in your life you need to get in order, like education, financial independence, and general personal development. You can't enjoy games or anything else really because of looming responsibilities you're avoiding. Games used to be a cool way to pass the time or have fun with friends, now they're a distraction from what's really important, and at this point can only be enjoyed if you get your life together first.
