I found that the secret to having vivid dreams that you remember days after is going a long time without sleeping, everytime I pull a 24hr+ marathon of not sleeping I get a vivid dream.

I still remember the last time I had that type of dream, I dreamed I was back in my highschool, sleeping on a qt's lap. I woke up and I could see her hair and smile, that dream was so refreshing.
