How does it feel OP, did the knowledge that you are gonna die give you a change of perspective on things? I always imagine that if I were to either experience a near death experience or actually get something terminal my life perception would change.

No one is going to have any stories that can equal or top that. My life failures and fuck overs are like a knee scrape compared to pancreatic cancer. I was in the hospital in September with acute pancreatitis. Apparently there was no identifiable cause or reason for it, it scared the piss out of me though. I've changed a lot since then. Hang on tight pancreas bro.

This is an odd coincidence. I'm 32 and four days ago I was diagnosed with early onset alzheimers disease (which is terminal). I was 8 when my mother got diagnosed and seeing her lose her mind scarred me for life. I don't want to go through that so I'm going to off myself before things get worse. I know it's going to kill my father though. I still haven't told him. Maybe I'll just put it in my note, he'll probably understand.
