May the 4th be with you, fellow NEETs.
>start watching Rogue One because it's "Star Wars Day" and I haven't seen it yet
>"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" comes up
>no scroll afterwards
This is bullshit.

They've decided not to use the text crawl for anthology films. Makes sense, honestly.
I liked Rogue One, but the characters and dialogue are mostly pretty bland and forgettable. Their concepts and back stories are cool, but they did fucking nothing with them in the movie.
I am not a NEET

I FUCKING LOVE STAR WARS
tfw you have your birthday on the same day
really overshadows it

everything disney has put out has been complete shit.

6/10 isn't synonymous with "complete shit." Just bland.
But sure, live in your world of hyperbole where everything is either "AMAZING" or "fucking bullshit terrible" with no in-between.
Disney and "geeky" normies are going to drive Star Wars into the ground until everyone gets sick of seeing it. I hate that we cant just leave a franchise alone without milking it for every cent its worth.
"geek" "culture" is one of the great mistakes of the 21st century desu lads

Why would you oppose capitalizing on a wildly successful business model?

kill yourself 90's born queer. I was a fan of star wars before you were even born. I'm entitled to my own opinion and my opinion is it's complete shit.

Because it ruins movies for me when everything is just a reboot or another sequel to a popular franchise.
