come on anons I know it's gonna be awkward but I NEED to talk to people. I'm incapable of small talk. Spent the last year too afraid to even talk to strangers online, luckily now I'm so broken I don't care as much if people hate my voice and don't like me (I'll give it my best shot making friends but I find it hard taking the initiative)

help please? I'll even buy a fancy mic with my last remaining money - this is my goal now I'm sure if I can just become mildly charismatic online I can maybe join go university in 6 months and make friends by joining clubs.

that's the most retarded thing. Obviously most people can talk and express themselves but I'm talking about being socially attractive. I want friends. If I come across as really awkward I won't have friends. And only cure to being awkward is being comfortable, which you can't just start doing you need to develop confidence from the ground up. I spent 19 years socialising with people every day and never made any friends.

So yeah socialising with people over the internet is definitely a good idea to do beforehand. You can only make 1 first impression on entering a new school. For me socialising online's even more useful because I find it hard to talk to strangers on the internet while I can function going to supermarket, getting on bus, etc. without it being too stressful.
