come on, robots, we can do better than this
dumping my small collection
Comfy to me is the absence of civilization.

What about the world post-civilization collapse?
Sitting in a comfy ball.

I'd personally love to visit this city one day. Yeah I know I'm weird, knew that for quite some time.
this is where the windows xp background was taken... still retains its serene comfy feel

Is that Pripyat?
>>36670127
That is indeed Pripyat. I'm brushing up on my dirt poor Ukrainian skills but the problem is the country is a tad unstable at the moment, I just hope I can still see the actual reactor 4 and not the giant covering they're going to put on it. Already know the Cyrillic alphabet so it shouldn't be too hard.

Makes me think of Call of Duty 4.
"50,000 people used to live here....now it's a ghost town."

Antarctica is pretty comfy.
>>36670411
I posted one of these videos in an old comfy thread. The stations in Antarctica are pretty comfy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5lQ9DCXIbs
>>36670446
I'd love to work in one of those stations. Any idea how exactly to go about that? Still looking for any info on it.
>>36670482
No idea. A friend of mine once was about to leave to go work in a station in Antarctica as a sysadmin. Poor fella got hit by a car one week before the ship was leaving. I guess your best bet is to be a scientist of some kind?
>>36670163
better hurry anon the outlook for Ukraine does not look good, it's probably only going to destabilize further
>>36670556
I'd have been beyond pissed if that happened to me. And surely they'd take more than just scientists, they'd also need people who keep the stations running (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc.) while the research is being done. Guess I'll keep looking into that.
>>36670612
Yeah I know. Between the Russian separatists and the West trying to get its influence in their it certainly isn't looking all that great, which is a damn shame. As a Slav I personally believe that we shouldn't be fighting each other so much, but I don't think that'll fully happen. Too much bad blood between everyone. At least things are looking good for Poland and such for now, better than the 80s/90s.

American College
someone posted this in a nightwalk thread I think
>>36670767
Nice. This was in the daytime but there was nobody around because of snow.
>>36670669
what kind of Slav anon? Pole here
>>36670918
Pole as well, though apparently some of my grandpas family were in the USSR itself, somewhere near Moscow/ St. Petersburg, or what became St. Petersburg, they're most likely dead by now.
RIP grandpa he was a good stalker
>>36671050
Forgot to add the picture. Based stomper of bolsheviks himself.
>>36671050
that's pretty cool, I have some ancestry from Ukraine do you live in Poland anon?
>>36670672
>Outside
>Other people
>Normies playing frisbee
Not comfy at all anon.
>>36671070
You mean pic related anon? Yeah I'd say he's pretty based as well.
>>36671100
Nope, but while there are problems (as with everywhere else really) Poland can be comfy as fuck and the landscape is gorgeous, though if you ask me it could use a bit more mountains. Better Poland than some place like Sweden if you ask me.

Why is cyberpunk dystopia the ultimate comfy?
>>>36668926 (OP)
>Why is cyberpunk dystopia the ultimate comfy?
Real cities are dirty
>>36671230
yeah I don't live in Poland either but I agree that it can be very comfy, for me the comfiest part of Poland is the countryside I love the flat terrain with the gentle hills with small forests here and there
>>36671325
As I said before Poland does have a very nice landscape. The cities are pretty good as well, pic related is Krakow.
>>36671428
I also have to say that even though they are somewhat grim commieblocks have a comfiness to them
>>36671713
I don't like communism but Soviet architecture does have a certain interest to it. It's one of the reasons why I want to visit Pripyat, literally an entire city frozen in time.
>>36671257
I don't have an answer. Escapism?
Haven't been this comfy in months desu
>In my chilly room eating pasta and listening to Neutral Milk Hotel with a small storm still raging on outside
>>36671971
iirc Poland has its own ghost town of Klomino
