The JoJo anime adaptation is shit. A soulless attempt at retelling Araki's manga. Despite being a 1:1 adaptation it fails to capture the feel and atmosphere of the manga. With art that looks like someone had way too much fun with the line tool, flat shading, and heaps of off-model shots, I feel it's an insult to the manga.

The art just doesn't translate well into the modern flat crisp digital art of modern anime. Jojo would look better if it was a hand drawn grainy anime in the 90s.

Fine, here's some points for you. The manga version of Kira revealing his stand is far better drawn. Why would they butcher a moment as important as the main villains stand getting revealed?

Not true. The anime version looks stiff, flat, and too still. The manga ironically has more motion than the anime, Jotaro and DIO's pose are much more dynamic in the manga and the camera angle is also at a lower angle, resulting in a more dramatic shot.
