ITT: characters that inspire you.
Have you ever felt a longing desire for something more than everyday life; something that transcends the mundane and enters the realm of impossibility? For me, Griffith symbolizes the individual human being's capacity for self-overcoming through otherworldly ambition and passion.
I hope that someday I'll be able to seize my dream but until then, I'll continue on this path of constant self-improvement.

Fuck Griffith, if you want an inspiring character from that series look at Guts. Unmatched perserverance, despite having to endure watching some cunt get his dick sucked by the entire planet and being relentlessly hunted by demons
The whole point of Griffith's story was a realization of fate. He was destined to be a god bruh. He was destined to fall into that trap laid for him by the princess and be tortured until he squealed. That's the main reason the torture had meaning for him. It was the price he paid for godhood. If you had any indication that you could live such a life, well, would you? I mean, maybe you will. It's highly unlikely, but it's possible you could have been chosen for such a life. But why would you even want it?

Except that Guts never had any ambition of his own until Griffith instilled purpose within him. Even now, Guts has devoted his entire life towards revenge while Griffith has literally established a utopia.
There's no comparison to be made.
