it's not as if the board is ruined (and frankly speaking i don't think it gets any worse than its current state) by some people regularly posting on these threads. it's also not as if these people had names or tripcodes; their only distinguishable feature is that most who do belong to the circlejerk use a specific character/type of picture.
the first time i started posting in those threads (in november?) i got banned for avatarfagging with koishi. why can't mods do the same thing with everyone who does that as well?
