I actually do like kids. Didn't used to as a teenager, but grew out of it by 20 or so. Don't understand people that don't anymore. They're so sweet. The capacity for childbearing about the only thing keeping women superior to traps for me. I want a family one day.

Yeah, this is literally what I thought as a teenager but I realised it was bullshit after spending a whole day with my 9-year-old cousin.

You don't 'talk' to kids, anon. You play with them, or sing songs with them, or read stories to them. You have to treat them differently from adults. And yes, it's considered taboo to pointlessly try and make them feel bad by telling them things that they're not equipped to understand. Indulge them a bit, it's much more fun and makes you nostalgic for the innocent happiness of childhood.

Sadly not, but I've been on a few summer camps as a custodian when I was a young adult.
Don't really miss a good part of it. Kids were a pain in the ass most of the time and dealing with the other supervisors was pretty tedious too.

Older women don't really care for me but children LOVE me. I don't get it, I've even had little girls confess to me, it's the strangest thing. I'm not some ped, so it sucks ass. If only I could get girls my age to be so forward and to be attracted to me like that.

I've had kids just come up to me and start talking to me about random things, I don't know what to do because of stranger danger. Anybody can come at anytime, point a finger and my life would be over but luckily I'm sort of attractive so people give me the benefit of the doubt. The weirdest thing that's happened is when little girls flirt with me in front of their parents, their parents always think it's so cute. When the girls start saying things like cute and boyfriend, I know that's my cue to get the hell out of there.

I'm pretty good with kids.
I really like teaching them about things I'm doing, like gardening or fixing the car.
It's nice to have somebody watching you and asking questions with genuine interest.
They can get annoying sometimes, but they're just kids.
I used to help my cousin with homework, that was always nice.

I never really liked kids when I was younger, but that passed pretty quickly.

Children like me despite how fat and ugly I am. It's usually a mix between treating them like adults and playing stupid and sarcastic with them to make me laugh. I've had a few little girls flirt with me, one slapped my ass. The parents are always fine with it. I can be pretty casual around people older than me, I can make old timey references and sex jokes around the adults to make them laugh then do the same thing around kids when we're alone so they really feel like that's just who I am.

They can be little shits sometimes but they are completely genuine in their intentions. I work as a cashier and I'm able to observe many of them each day. The kid asked to buy a ball. Their mom said no. So they cry. It's fucking simple and easy to understand. Even an autist like me can understand that when I see a child clutching a toy and the mother asks me to scan it the correct thing to do is to return the toy to the child immediately. Their body language and their words are completely transparent. I can't be a part of the "I don't like kids" crowd because I think they're some of the best people we have. I experienced cruelty at the hands of other children when I was young but it's a joke compared to what I experienced from parents, teachers, employers, girlfriends, landlords, politicians, I could go on. Unfortunately the children grow up to be a bunch of bullshitters who hide their true intentions behind a smile and body language that projects confidence. A broken person like me rarely wins at these games. But I can understand that if I gave that child the toy he wanted he's not going to scream, I see the content look on his face, and the parent is happy as well. Few things in life are more simple and obvious.

I guess you're right, but what are you going to do? I say I can't be their boyfriend but I'll be their friend and play along with them. Once spent an evening holding hand with my little cousin watching Ghibli movies with her leaning on my shoulder and snuggling her face against me. Everyone just thinks it's cute, especially since I pretty much look as much like a girl as any guy I've met who isn't a trap.

I had to babysit a lot when I was younger, so I'm probably just used to it.

I think it comes with age too, I didn't really like children being around before I was 20 or so, probably partially due to having to babysit all the time when I was younger, and I didn't want to have children at all.
I'm 25 now, and that's definitely changed.

Most people think I'm weird and I don't care, but it always makes me feel bad when my coworkers/relatives' children get creeped out by my presence. It's not a good feeling. I just put off serial killer vibes or something, people have made fun of me for that before.

I'm only 20 years old and this didn't used to happen, it feels shitty to be growing up into a weirdo. The only thing that keeps me going is my love of programming and alchohol, I honestly have no other reason to live at this point.

Was an assistant teacher at an elementary school for a while. The kids thought I looked cool, and liked to talk to me a lot. I also knew easily how to handle situations, and how to have fun with them.
