This is exactly what i've felt for the past week since beating it after 113 hours. Persona games never fail to give me a sense of meaning while i play them.

Persona games are so fucking bad for this. You get so wrapped up in the story and all the fun characters and the social links that when it ends you just feel hollow and lonely, as if you left a part of yourself in the game.

I comfort myself knowing that I'd never have a group of friends of the same quality because they simply don't exist. Persona characters are idealizations of human beings.

Now that P5 is out everyone seems to be shitting on P4. Which is strange to me seeing how much better the music in P4 was over P5, every song was kind of bland and just followed the same shitty formula.

The combat was about the same in both games and S.Links are all personal preference. I do give P5 the S.Link nod due to Christmas Cake Goth Nurse.

P3 fags have been shitting on P4 for years now because it's more popular in the west than P3 and because it's not DEEP and DARK. I still love it, but I admit P5 is the best Persona game yet.

Play it for a year in total isolation, an in-game day a day at a time, like I did. It's sure to make you forget reality for a while. It got me motivated to raised my irl stats, though. I lost a lot of weight, took better care of my skin, started wearing nice clothes and got a job. I still need to escape skinnyfat mode for her to be proud of me, though. I'm still friendless too. Oh well.

Video games friends are still video games. Either you continue to fill the hole through persona games, play multiplayer team games, play something with an amazing story, play something ridiculously cool. Or you go do something else you enjoy, be it with or without people. Sometimes it takes a while but something else eventually catches my eye. I'm at 67 hours and the the thought that it will end soon really scares me. I've never had a game with such amazing collection of waifus such as this one. It's fucking impossible to choose the best girl.

That being said, Haru is very high on my list right now and I might just romance her.
