I'm actually both, depending on the situation.

If I don't know much about something, I always start out very strongly in P mode.

Then, if there's something that I have a lot of experience with, I will cautiously start taking on the J mode -- but only in that one area.

I have pretty high standards for how much I have to know about something before I switch over the J mode. There's not a whole lot of things that I feel confident enough to activate J mode for. But when I do activate J mode, I do it confidently and forcefully. But P is always my default mode.

For the other 3 components, I am at the extreme 100% level for all of them.

This may or may not be related to my type being the literal autistic robot type, but I don't often listen to music because I relate to it. For example, I love Handel's Water Music. It's essentially adapted English folk dances and I find that late Georgian/early Victorian aesthetic very attractive. It has a baroque precision, but it's so lively and it relaxes me when I feel overloaded with thoughts. Do I 'relate' to it? Insofar as I'm English, it's part of my history and culture, and I mentally associate that style of music with nice things like the music I heard in BBC Jane Austen adaptations growing up, so maybe, but I doubt that's what the questioner is asking.

On the other hand, Land of Sunshine by Faith No More is a song that sounds to me like the closest simulation of the pressure I've felt from people to stop being an disengaged underachiever. Apparently Patton wrote it sleep-deprived and adapted lyrics from a Scientology questionnaire and fortune cookies, so it's basically like having motivational cliches and nonsensical questions screamed at you, which especially when I was at school seemed to reflect my sense of being confused and overwhelmed by both the praise and the demands that were placed on me.

The difference would be music that arouses an emotion or thought because of something external to me, like the Water Music making me feel relaxed or nostalgic, vs. music that does the same because it reminds me of my own experiences. 'This sounds like something I've experienced'. That's how I take it.
