Is psychology really a meme major?
50 years ago masturbation was a mental disorder
Everything that falls outside STEM is meme.

But they've made progress since then.
OP, I don't really know what you'd do with such a major. Psychologist work is boring and often not very sought out

The M in STEM is also a meme.

Good point.

I'm stem and I wouldn't instantly lose respect for somebody studying psychology

Social psych aka sociology is a meme major.
Cognitive psych/Neuroscience is STEM with research involved. I/O psych and other forms are okay as long as it isn't social bullshit.

College itself is a meme
It's 10% learning and 90% networking
If you can't do that in real life you are already lost
My problem is not psychology itself, but their insistence that they are "evolving", "making progress" or that their discipline is "scientific".
They have serious epistemological problems inside the whole subject to even pretend that what they are talking about the field's supposed success is true.
