I think he's feeling dejected because he thought he'd be able to do all this amazing earthmoving shit and no one would be able to tell him no. Then he realized even the president has to abide by the rules. Sad!

I'm pretty left wing but I've never disliked Trump, he's a cool guy and I remember his cameos in Home Alone and Fresh Prince with some fondness. He doesn't fit in with the Republican establishment and I think he meant/means well, he loves America and is doing his best. He's also not a racist, he even recently told Mexican "Dreamers" to "rest easy" as he only wanted to go after the bad guys i.e. criminals, echoing Obama's administration.

I do dislike his supporters: they're covertly or even overtly racist, have a simplistic partisan view of life & politics, and are just generally unpleasant, uncultured (esp the frat boys posing as preps in their mall bought blazers and button downs), and dumb.

Reality is starting to sink in for him. He thought he could be a dictator. And now he's seeing all the things he wanted to do being shot down.

I'll give him until the end of the year to step down.
