You want to hear real redpill, in other words - harsh truth you won't like?

We have age of consent for sole reason people on 4chan and other reddits want to eliminate it.

To protect children and young teens who can't fully understand human sexuality and are shitty on makind decisions, from frustrated beta 20-something virgins who are afraid of talking to women their age so they would go go after little girls who are as insecure and inexperienced as them.

1. The 'age of consent' as the western world knows it today, was NEVER established or reviewed by groups of scientists, psychologists, doctors attempting to establish an age of sexual maturity or an age at which a persons' 'choices' are somehow most ordered or rational.
2. The 'age of consent' as the western world knows it today was only established by feminist activists, mostly the WCTU and associated "women's morality", "female suffrage" and "women's" movements. None of these movements were remotely rational. It's likely that the reader of this comment has internalised a false sense of history that early feminists were somehow more 'rational', but even your most extreme third-wavers today are probably much more ordered and even less misandric than the women who sought 'age of consent'. The same groups that sought the age of consent ALSO wanted Prohibition, gender segregation in prisons, etc. They also held to something called (THEY used the term) "the doctrine of female moral superiority".
3. Those feminists\women who sought the 'age of consent' never even claimed that girls at those ages weren't capable of making the choice to have sex, the majority of the time, their arguments were that basically the state had to be used to chase after and prosecute men (it was entirely framed in this gendered way) in order to cut down on young female prostitutes. It was entirely a 'practical' measure, the idea that girls at 14 and 15 are somehow too immature to have their consent to sex regarded as valid is a modern post-hoc imposition.
4. Society and the law mean that it's only ever prosecuted SELECTIVELY - firstly almost entirely only men are prosecuted, and the few women who are are barely punished. Secondly, only a tiny minority of cases of 'underage' sex ever get taken to the police... it is in fact the cultural NORM for most girls to have sex under the AoC. This cucks the more responsible young men out of the chance of ever getting married to a non roastie.
