Not with the roman empire.
Contributor not directly responsible but there so many factors and many with far greater impact.
Look at modern Sweden or Germany or the Ancient Greek play Assemblywomen (391BC) if you want examples of women fucking up government and subsequently their countries.
Not even a little. Rome fell for many, many reasons, but the most significant one (for the western part, at least) were the Marian Reforms which encouraged loyalty to military commanders rather than the state, allowing ambitious generals like Sulla or Caesar to overthrow/stamp down the Senate and seize control. Over time these incessant civil wars weakened Rome and its military, which, along with Rome's immense size, made defending its borders impossible.
You also had emperors bribing foreign tribes to act as surrogate military forces, and they would inevitably turn on Rome and fuck it over.
People who argue moral degeneracy was responsible for Rome's fall are either idiots or liars trying to con idiots.

They're interrelated, you dumbass. The internal corruption and moral degeneracy saps the fighting spirit of the civilization. Which is why they had to depend on foreign tribes to defend them.
Marius' reforms were necessary because there was not enough land owning aristocrats willing to fight for Rome (They'd rather enjoy their wealth) so they had to enlist peasants.
Why fight when your emperor is a Caligula figure who goes around having sex orgies while you're off in some god forsaken land getting spears lobbed at you?
