Drove it for about 2 years, then it sat unused for another 10 years or so before selling it. Guy who bought it melted the engine, then started turning it into a track car, stripped the interior and meant to put in a v8 but he lost interest and scrapped it, I regret that I didn't keep it, at the time of sale I just figured I'd get rid of as much stuff as possible before killing myself so sold it super cheap too.

I'm 20 and have a license but haven't bought a car yet. I live in a small town so Craigslist all has the same overpriced shit. Plus my state doesn't have temp tags so I can't drive it home the day I buy it. I'd have to tow it or leave it with the seller.
I've got a cheap motorcycle for fun and errands but employers don't see it as "reliable transportation."

my first car was a piece of shit bmw 325i. 200...4? maybe? i can't quite remember. it was like 4 or 5 years ago. i think i paid around $2500 for it. transmission crapped out on me after a year or two.

A Ford Ka. It only lasted 18 months before a mechanic told me it was a death trap and not worth paying him to fix. He said I should just get a new car. Appreciated the bro honesty. He could have taken 100s off me to repair it.

1990 Honda Civic, got if for $300.
A/C didn't work but the heating did. I had so many problems with it over the years, but I did learn a lot about cars and how to fix them. Eventually the clutch burnt out after 5 years.
I now drive a little 2006 Getz which I like because it only coast 15 dollars a week to run.

Just bought a Mazda3 because I needed a car and it was the sportiest ride in the class

1998 Jetta GLX for 500 still driving it after 5 years

Still driving it. It has got approx 235,000 miles, Mom and dad didnt want me to get killed in a Jap death trap. Cost them about $4500

2 Jap cars have tangled with me and died.
