It's pretty tiring, you need a fair amount of stamina (as in, cardio) to keep it going for longer than ten minutes or so. And in porn/dreams you obviously don't get the bits where you penis slips out just as you were enjoying it, or you get leg cramps, or the other person bites you too hard or something and it ruins the mood for a second.

You also have to mentally keep yourself immersed in it, if the sex is good then that's very easy and you forget about anything else in the room, but if it's not so good then you kind of need to continually make an effort to be turned on and active.

The most enjoyable part of sex for me is immediately afterwards when you both lie there on your backs with that glow feeling, tired, and they're stroking your chest or something. The actual act is fun but after you've done it enough times it's actually hard to keep it fresh and exciting each time.

Also form my experiences guys are generally more active in bed but they focus more on just your genitals, while girls aren't usually as physically dominant (some exceptions) but are more into stroking and kissing etc.
