I'd say cutting out porn is the real challenge. Nofap is more of a meme.

Seriously, once I cut all porn, I stopped fapping as much. Not because I don't have drive, but because I don't instantly become aroused (which has led me to premature ejac - a nightmare).

So I think it helps overall with women. If you've got no roasties in your life, it'll increase your chances if you decide to go for it. If you don't do anything, just stick to fapping.
