Same here. I tried to hang with people at lunch but none of them felt like "good" friends so I would just walk up to a group awkwardly stand there, until they walked away and moved to another and walked around the school. After realizing they thought I was awkward and not wanted I always ate in the library or bathroom when it was free.

I did the bathroom and roaming the Halls in my sophomore and Junior years, as a senior, I just did my homework in the library

That's why recess was way worse though because I couldn't hide in the bathroom as we were expected to be outside so I'd always fake sick otherwise I'd awkwardly sit against the wall and get picked on or awkwardly walk around, try and fit in, get bullied by the cool kids, was too cool for the "weird" pokemon playing kids so I just did nothing and cried on the grass.

I've done both, but usually I went to the library. Some Stacey still somehow managed to figure out what I was doing and mentioned it in front of the entire class once.

I found the library comfy for the first month or two but after a year it got kind of annoying sometimes when the same old crowd came in and some were kind of weird/special which mad e me feel like others would think I was like them but I was just too anxious and awkward to try to make friends/talk to normies and pretend to fit in. And I started worrying what people thought of me and how I was always there doing nothing or listening to music. But it was definitely better than the bathroom. That place usually was a mess, smelled bad, when people came in it got awkward/embarassing if they saw me or said anything and it was small.

Also I usually didn't eat at all until I got home.

Had the same thing happen to me.

Stacy asks infront of whole class "Why are you so quiet? Do you talk?" and everyone of her grill friends laughed at me. Then sometimes they'd talk to me like I was retarded. It sucked. And eventually some dude found out about me always being in the library and called me a weirdo. That's when I started going home for lunch. And then not going to classes at all. Until I dropped out. Fuck school, some of the WORST years of my life. So much pressure. Now it's all pointless and I never even see those assholes. Fuck it pisses me off.

Ah for us it was somewhat more normal to go to the library during lunch, especially as a junior or senior. A lot of "alternative" kids would do it, but not as regularly as I would or some other people.

But seriously I got to a point where I stopped caring what people thought and took peace and quiet wherever I could (like the library). That resolve disappeared somewhere along the line, it's a real shame.

That's where all the stoners and smokers were though, fuck that. They'd make fun of me for eating alone and plus it's where everyone walked by. Way too crowded. Either going home, out to eat if you're lucky enough to live near a city or eating in a room with the door closed is your best bet. The library was too known for being the geek/reject room. But after walking home got too tiresome and I was low on money so I couldn't eat out, I kept going to this one computer class room that was usually empty. I'd shut the door, go on the internet for an hour and go to class before anyone came. Nobody ever knew. That was the goldmine. Unfortunately I only found it near the end of grade 12.

I just stopped eating lunch.

I didn't have a cafeteria in my country, but I took refuge in the library at lunch and the librarians took pity on me and let me eat in the library office and read.

My lunchtimes generally consisted of hiding under the stairs with various girls making out and sometimes getting a stinky finger of a dick rub. Or, smoking pot with friends.

Was the best footballer in school, so was very popular. Felt good man. I would do anything to relive those days.
