I dont think hes quitting, but stating that if their ad revenue doesnt return to normal, then doing youtube videos becomes non-sustainable for them and theyll be forced to quit so that they dont go broke.

He's not quitting youtube, just goingto upload more vlogs and less comedy videos. also he's going to stream on twitch his own podcast

I thought his criticisms of youtube were retarded and the fact that he thinks he's entitled to ad revenue from all businesses makes me believe he doesn't get that comedy/sketch videos aren't supposed to make a lot of money via advertisements. You run a gig and do your schtick. He's complains about one of his videos being de-monitized for having "blood" in it and he thinks, "oh, it's being demonitized because of the BLOOD being controversial... and totally not because it's a video about mocking the pepsi commercial which controversially covers the current political/social temperature we're slowly cooking in."
