I thought I was ok I just don't really share any common interests with people. But now it's gotten to the point I just don't try. I like being alone. I have a job, I get along with my family, I just can't talk to them. I spend all day in my room reading, or watching movies. When I do try they talk about the dumbest shit that I can't contribute anyway. I pass for normie, I'm in shape, I'm alright looking, no weird speech patterns or tics. I think it'd help to find one interest that they also like. For me it's fitness, they'll come up to me and ask for advice on training and nutrition. Anything else I draw a blank, I don't watch tv, sports, Netflix, or listen to the radio. Just an indie rock station on Pandora. I read a lot or watch documentaries or let's plays on YouTube.

I was like that too. My brother and my brother-in-laws brother forced me to go and started training me back in college. Until I was ok to go on my own. It's gonna be rough the first few weeks til you get used to it. It'll build up your confidence and you'll feel good. you gotta try to remember that everyone is more worried about themselves. What you're thinking of them. People only care about themselves. You're just in the background.
