I crossed it by sailing (i had never sailed before; i was just a crew member).Any ocean is inherently interesting and just being on water for 3 weeks straight makes you think twice about it, but really 'cool shit'? I saw three whales, some groups of dolfins and jelly fish, (only near coasts) but the waves are rather small and I only saw one storm.

Apparently the great pacific has more 'cool shit'.
