If you want a proper response as opposed to the typical anti-woman spell, its because women are less inclined to develop fields of interest compared to men. Generally men are far more isolated (especially at older ages) than women are and thus naturally find entertainment in their own niche interests, whether it be fishing, reading or weapons collecting - they generally have something more to do whereas women are more often than not more touchy than men and tend to vent their feelings more. This is why women are partly less intelligent, instead of having an incentive to build interests and hobbies they are instead more attracted to the prospects that friendship and social status can bring, even the most well-meaning of women require comfort and support whereas men would rather do their own thing, you know? And part of the result is that men spend more time researching into different fields or perfecting practical skills whereas women are more likely to venture into celebrity gossip and shopping crazes. If you seriously want to find women then search around in your fields of interests, if you are at a university then look at their societies and the demographics of them or if not then venture 'round richer areas where women and men alike are generally better educated, just don't expect the women generally to be as interesting or intelligent as the men - of course their may be outliers though we're basing this on averages.
