I found this job on craigslist for this old dude.
So he obsessed with pickles and he hired me to measure every pickle in every jar he buys. Well everyday that I'm active consists of a briefing first thing in the morning about all of the planned patients for the day. Then I get to work, I usually serve about 5 patients a day on average. It's nice because I get to talk to the patient before the operation and reassure them that everything is going to go smoothly. After getting their medical info, I prepare the anesthetics and usually a nurse will administer it to them via IV but sometimes I have to do it. Then I watch the procedure and monitor the patient's condition. If there are no complications, I pack my bags and head to the next patient for the day. Rinse/repeat until the day is over.

Definitely not boring, and is very stimulating because the slightest fuck up can kill someone. Typically 12ish hours a day, typically a bit more than that if the situation demands it (more patients than anticipated, emergency scenarios, etc). I've had to work near 24 hour shifts before but they pay well for overtime so I don't really mind. Those days are the most soul sucking tiring experiences though.

The daytrading restriction severely restricts you, and I bet on suretrader 1k the fees will kill you unless your aiming for much larger %'s. when I was a NEET i used to work in warehouses. picking out items than then would be boxed up and shipped off. the place was fuck huge, and even seeing co-worker amongst the row and rows of shelves was a rarity. I mostly walked around doing my job until I found out that there where none actually checking your work so as long as clocked in and out you could just disappear deep into the warehouse and do nothing. I played my hand held and listened to pod-casts, sometimes I would get high just for good measure.

Another great job I had was as a night cleaner, I would clean office buildings after all the employees had gone home. so it was just me and another looser. get high, listen to pod-casts, hoover. there's a great atmosphere in empty offices after dark, plenty to explore.

good times, comfy times. nowadays I'm a chef. its good work but its stressful and the hours are killing me. thinking about fixing my grades and going back to academia. my original plan was to get experienced as a chef so I could travel and work abroad but its been a year and I still live at home. can one still work as a lighthouse keeper in these days?
