So is everyone else in your department. What sets you apart is being able to talk to people. How many engineers and scientist can you say you met know how to talk and identify issues in a company or translate science into a way someone a kid could understand? Build a skill no one else can do. You'll be way more succesful. And I actually get paid millions plus comp and get to travel and meet high value clients because I can talk engineering with people and talk it in a way that both a child can understand and an engineer can understand.
