It's a masterfully done show, both in story and cinematography. Despite the art style being very simply it really comes into its own perfectly. Character development is also great.

I haven't started watching the new season, is it really good? How would it compare to the original cn run?

Honestly this
Not even just the cinematography but the audio I would also agree.
A lot of scenes were really punctuated by the lack of sound.
Most scenes were merely the sound of Jack's sandals, the sound of ambient fauna, and the whistling of the wind.
I fucking love that show
Samurai Jack is one of the characters that I use to compose my Super-Ego.
I want to get a tattoo of the iconic scene after finds his father and rides to to meet AKU for the first/last time in his timeline
