Pros -
An excellent public transport system
Great social services like hospitals, and police and garbage collectors who do their jobs well
The CBD streets are on a grid
Lots of garden and public spaces
Surrounded by green bushlands and mountains, not shitty desert and shrub
There's like two dozen 7/11's

Neutral -
It's a great place to live, a bit boring to visit
We don't show off nearly as much as Sydney does
There's a lot of hipster'ish cultural stuff with the cafes and street art
In the last decade the number of Asians has like quadrupled, there never used to be this many

Shit taxi service, although with Uber who cares
The Yarra is filthy
