Depends where you're at. A lot of public universities have these types of people. Suburbs are a breeding ground as well since the children don't grow up with much adversity, strife, etc and so they end up quite optimistic and willing to buy into that pattern of thinking.

I've been black all of my life I dont really know what the other side is like. If i was white and my family stayed black i'm not sure how that would affect my life (for better or worse) so i'd stick to my own race. If my entire life, my parents and my grandparents life were white then yeah I don't see any downsides. it doesn't even have to be grandparents just immediate family.
