I don't actually take the bus that often. I live in a city so i take the metro instead. Most of the time it's just full of foreigners. ahah at least i have a short ride to work though.

I see kids with coloured her and/or Adventure Time/Legend of Zelda buttons very often.

There's a "hopper" bus that takes students between different campuses across the city.

Every time I take it, I always take two seats, even when it gets crowded. Don't care about people's reaction, I can't make friends anyway, so might as well inconvenience the hell out them.

I used to take the city bus around 3pm when most schools were done for the day and middle/jr/high school kids would pile into the bus

I, too, only ride the bus because I'm too retarded (also too poor) to drive. It's mostly just perfect for me, other than when the occasional schizo/druggo gets on and starts saying some loud rambling nonsense and the driver doesn't kick them off. Or the teenagers who want to play their shitty rap music loudly over their phone speakers.

Its more what I smell on the bus. I can wear headphone to block out the screeching autistic children, and look out the window or my phone to avoid eye contact, but the smell is unavoidable.

I once saw a guy only wearing shoes and nothing else.
And it was fucking -10 degrees and 3am.
He just got on the bus and acted like it was just a normal day and he was wearing clothes.
Also he wasn't high or drunk so he must have decided "you know what I'm gonna be naked and only wear my shoes at 3am while it's -10 degrees.
And I was heading to the airport and it was 2 hours to get there.
So I had to be near a naked man for 2 fucking hours.

Only friends and old people talk to each other on the bus or when the driver swears at the people driving cars.

You start seeing the same people on the bus for months or even years at a time but you'll never speak to them.

Talking to people you don't know on public transportation is something you don't do, so you're not missing out on much.

I live in Seattle so I mostly see niggers and homeless men sleeping.
