Hey,
do you ever get uncomfortable with girl talk? I know I do. I get pretty confused, actually. Because unlike with men where we mainly talk about interests and if we talk about emotions it's annoyance and anger at whatever phenomenon.
But then I'm talking to a girl, and a few hours into conversation she'll talk about private stuff, or about periods or inconveniences that come with being a woman. And they make themselves vulnerable. They'll talk about times they were afraid or ashamed, and I don't know where we stand. I bond with them, but then I talk about my stuff and suddenly I'm being treated as a huge creep. Or I'm talking about daydreaming too much, zoning out for ages or imagining a less sad life and they give me this look of pity where they clearly don't relate.
So it kind of scares me when a woman starts to talk to me. Where's the line drawn?
