This is technically the most Patrician, because its something only a dad would watch. The main anime series is 110 half hour episodes of pure, unadulterated politics and military theory IN SPACE. Its a masterpiece in its own right but its very much unlike a traditional anime and very hard to get into. Reminds me a bit like the old gundam dialogue with alot less action.

Texhnolyze is arguably the best anime ever made.
It's one of the few truly deep anime out there. It has a lot to say and does it with very few words. Reading translated interviews helps see things in a different light, such as him mentioning that his inspiration was "imagining what it is like to live life missing a limb." I've seen it 3 times and will likely watch it again.
