Probably when mountain biking
I didn't even fall off.
A pine tree branch scraped the inside of my upper arm into the pit of my elbow.
Surprisingly painful, got some scars.
Haven't had anything that had me praying for death

When I was in elementary school my and a group of friends used to climb a tree in the playground that was next to a wooden fence that separated the school from a housing complex. One day I was climbing the tree and wanted to reach the top. But as you got higher up the branches got too thin to support my weight.

I ended up falling onto one of the fence posts and the pyramid tip impaled me on my side. I don't think anything I've experienced since has been as bad as that I'm surprised I'm not dead.

The doctor gave me one of those electrode things that puts a current in your body to distract away from nerve pain. I had it cranked fully, past the recommended level, into taser levels of shock, and it did NOTHING

After 3 days the situation resolved itself. Now when I feel tightness in my shoulder I get super nervous

It happened a couple months ago.

THEN they brought me three pain pills, which I don't think even did anything. Finally the doctor came in and reset the toe, which was even more fucking painful, and it continues to hurt (much less and infrequently) to this day about a month later.
