Is reading the secret to getting people to talk to you?

Damn nigga. I read a lot but I'm a shut in, so it hasn't worked yet.

Alright I'll give this a try and read before every class of mine. I'll report back in 2 weeks with my progress.

Reading's pretty good actually. I used to read at my old job and people from other sections would just randomly ask me about it if they saw me at lunch or in the carpark or w/e.

My guess is that most people like to talk and look for an avenue to do so. Standing around quietly doesn't give them anything to work with, but standing around quietly reading does.

Reading is very solitary, but it can attract other solitary awkward people to you. Case in point, me and my boyfriend.
