Tinder/online dating is a waste of time

I can't be the only one that thinks tinder is a massive waste of time? I'm saying this as I getting perhaps like only two dates that managed to go anywhere (if you count sex) in over like a year and a half. It's a compulsive waste of time swiping away that feeds your reward/action part of your brain like a slot machine does insidiously so. That and the people on it are literally the lowest tier of low.

The last date I was on was with this cute weeb/cosplay girl who I really thought something could come of it we even had sex the same night. Two weeks later after I give her a call and no answer, I get a text back saying she already has a boyfriend but we can still be "friends". All this after, "hey I really like you a lot you know Anon, we should definitely go out in the future".
Like what the fuck, and women complain that men use them for sex? At least self-proclaimed whores/sluts are honest about what they want.

tl;dr mad about being used as a rebound. Whats a good venue to meet weeb/cosplay types aside from then conventions? Raves?
